This two-day course is an interactive workshop. It provides an excellent foundation for understanding the requirements necessary for a well-run system that is compliant with that company’s approved GFSI food safety scheme. This includes implementation, maintenance, and sustainability of the system. The training material is invaluable for those who want to increase their skills and knowledge by learning practical applications that are already proven best practices.

Debby Newslow will give valuable insight based on her first-hand experiences. She will also be using her book, Food Safety Management Programs: Applications, Best Practices, and Compliance for various examples and references!

This workshop will include information on FSSC 22000 versus the FSMA Preventive Controls compliance (human and animal food) which has been created in collaboration between the FDA and FSPCA and is an important regulation that is mandatory for most companies and will be part of their future audits and compliance.
