The FSMA: Preventive Controls for Human Foods (PCQI) course is on August 8th and 9th. It is a two-day course that will cover the Current Good Manufacturing Practice, Hazard Analysis, and Risk Based Preventative Controls for Human Food Rule, 21 C.F.R. § 117, with a focus on Hazard Analysis and Risk Based Preventative Controls. By completing this course, you will meet the requirements to qualify as a Preventative Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI) under the rule. This course was designed by the Food Safety Preventative Controls Alliance in collaboration with the FDA.


The Intentional Adulteration course is on August 10th. It is a one-day course that will teach you how to conduct vulnerability assessments against acts of intentional adulteration. By completing this course, you will get a certificate from FSPCA that will be recognized by the FDA for meeting the requirements of having a qualified individual responsible for this task.
