The Sanitary Transportation section covers the new FDA requirements for Sanitary Transportation of Human and Animal Food under the 2011 Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA). Under this regulation, the FDA now has the ability to enforce a more robust law designed to protect consumers from unsanitary transportation practices. Industry professionals must keep abreast of the changes and be aware of the implications to their sector of the food industry.
The FSVP course is intended for importers. Developed by the Food Safety Preventive Controls Alliance (FSPCA), this is the only standardized curriculum for FSVP Training recognized by FDA. Training sessions will be taught by FSPCA FSVP lead instructors. Upon completion of the course, you will receive a certificate from the FSPCA and IFPTI.
