Food Safety / HACCP Prerequisite Programs
Understanding the role of your PRPs in being compliant with FSMS Standards and the FSMA “HARPC” rule. The focus of this presentation is to discuss prerequisite programs as they relate to an organization’s compliant food safety management system and also to the Food Safety Modernization Act’s rule on “HARPC”. PRPs are the foundation to an effective food safety program whether based on a specific GFSI approved FS scheme, basic Codex HACCP or in being compliant with FDA’s FSMA “HARPC” requirements. Debby’s focus is on being effective by utilizing best practices. She explains how an organization can ensure compliance without having to manage a “war and peace” size program.

Food Safety Management Systems - "Understanding the "three legged stool"
The focus of this presentation is to provide an overview of three key elements in all management systems. We refer to these as the “three legged stool”. This concept includes effective management review, CAPA and internal audit programs which are the foundation of an effective and valued added management system. This information is critical and, of course, applicable for either implementing or maintaining a system compliant with an approved GFSI food safety scheme, basic HACCP Program or ISO program. This material is invaluable for those who are interested in enhancing their understanding from learning practical applications and best practices.

Certified Food Safety & HACCP Manager Workshop and Review
The training provides a comprehensive review of basic HACCP requirements as related to Codex, GFSI approved food safety management schemes, food safety standards, and the FDA Food Code. Achieving the Certified HACCP Manager level of competence (by passing the NRFSP exam) is an excellent demonstration of competency for the food safety management system programs, regulatory HACCP and FSMA requirements. NRFSP encourages anyone interested in taking the exam to attend a couple HACCP workshops, a review session as well as have actual HACCP work experience before taking the exam. Attendees take the exam at any of the 1600 Pierson Vue testing sites located throughout the U.S. and Canada.
